2. Essential Drift Locations on the Map
Once you have your drift car from Yuji, these are some of the best drift zones in
Forza Horizon 6
:
Location Region Description
Drift Club Japan Tokyo City On the small island southeast of Tokyo City, north of the Daikoku Parking Area. Central hub for drift stories.
Mount Haruna Gunma (North) A replica of Mount Akina from Initial D, featuring long, technical hairpins.
Hakone Nanamagari Southwest Winding road with seven continuous hairpins, historically famous in drifting culture.
Ebisu Style Circuit Estate Area Small track south of the Estate region resembling Tsukuba Circuit, perfect for technical drifting.
These locations are ideal for practicing combos, maintaining long slides, and maximizing drift points.
3. Quick Drift Setup Guide
Scoring 3 stars in Yuji’s drift missions can be tricky. Follow these tips to optimize your performance:
Car Choice:
Yuji’s GT86 is the story car, but for a starter option, the 1989 Nissan Silvia S13 is balanced and easy to control.
Assist Settings:
Traction Control (TCR): OFF
Stability Control (STM): OFF
Shifting: Manual, staying in 2nd or 3rd gear for power-band control
Tuning Tip:
For AWD cars, allocate 80–90% power to the rear wheels to simulate RWD drift behavior while keeping stability.
With these settings, you’ll find long slides, hairpin transitions, and drift combos much easier to manage. Practice each track a few times to learn the flow, especially the iconic Nanamagari and Haruna passes.
Yuji’s Auto isn’t just a story business—it’s the gateway to mastering drifting in Forza Horizon 6. By completing its missions and exploring the dedicated drift zones, you can experience some of the most thrilling driving challenges the game has to offer. Whether you’re upgrading a GT86 or sliding through Ebisu, this guide will help you hit every apex, chain every drift, and rack up maximum points.
